Yes this is an Alaska unit. It was bought by a private party and Mass Central used it to move freight and do some switching. The 1508 was a favorite in the Palmer yard. Now the 1508 has gone to New York to pull Adirondack Scenic Railroad. Photographed in March 1997. | |
